We, at Passport to the Nations, LLC, respect your privacy and value it as a high priority. Our privacy policy was created to:  1) inform you about the information we collect about you, 2) inform you about when and with whom we share your information, 3) give you a choice in how we use and disclose your information. 

This privacy policy addresses all information received through our Passport to the Nations website (https://www.passporttothenations.com) as well as information that you share with us over the telephone. 

The Information We Collect 

When you participate in activities on Passport’s website, you provide certain personally identifiable information (PII). Examples of this information may be any of the following: your name, email address, church or organization affiliation, personal or church address, personal or church phone number, credit card information, personal and/or church demographic information, personal shopping, contact preferences, and personal and/or professional opinions. 

How We Use Your Personal Information 

We use your personal information to complete the transaction (including order confirmation and appropriate follow up) and/or other interaction that you initiated and to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Passport to the Nations website. We may also use the information you have provided to send you mail or e-mail, or to call you, about new products, services, events, membership benefits or important information relating to Passport to the Nations

How We Share Your Information 

Passport to the Nations does not share, sell, or give your personal information to any other companies or third parties. 

When you submit content or any other personal information you voluntarily disclose online to the Passport to the Nations website (through comments, discussion boards, etc.), it becomes available to the public and may be collected and used by others. When you upload content or send messages through Passport to the Nations’ website, your account name (not your e-mail address) is displayed to other users, and other users can contact you through your content, messages, and comments. The content that you submit to the Passport to the Nations website may be redistributed through the Internet and other media channels, and may be viewed by the general public. 

How to "Opt Out" of Passport to the Nations Communications 

If you prefer that we not (a) contact you about new products, services, events, membership benefits or important information relating to Passport to the Nations, you can "opt out." To do so, please e-mail your request to support@passportnation.org.  Be sure to include your name, church name, and address so the appropriate changes are made to your account and/or record. Or you can call one of our customer representatives at 1-205-703-7903.  In addition, when you subscribe to our online newsletters there are instructions at the bottom of your e-mail newsletter telling you how to unsubscribe if you ever wish to do so. 

Cookies 

We use cookies on our Passport website to help you in your online shopping at https://www.passporttothenations.com, and to help tailor your experience at our website. Cookies are little bits of electronic information that a website can store on your computer to help make shopping online easier and to help personalize your visit to the Passport to the Nations website. You can choose not to accept the cookies through the privacy setting on your browser. However, you may be unable to shop online, or you may find you need to re-enter information to download free samples of our resources. Once we receive your transmission of information, Passport to the Nations uses commercially reasonable efforts to safeguard the systems where your information is stored by using secure networks and limiting employee access to these databases. Please note that we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to Passport to the Nations or that we store at Passport to the Nations. When Passport to the Nations Discloses Information 

Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, Passport to the Nations will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to comply with any applicable laws or to respond to a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process received by Passport to the Nations, LLC; (2) to protect the safety of members of the public or users of Passport to the Nations’ website; or (3) to enforce our Terms of Use or to protect our rights or property. 

Contests 

Passport to the Nations occasionally offers contests. The full rules for our contests are clearly posted during each contest. The information that is gathered through a contest is used by Passport to the Nations to verify user identity, contact winners and/or prize recipients, and increase company databases for future sales and marketing enterprises. 

Links to Other Sites 

Independent organizations that are not related to Passport to the Nations may operate online areas that you may visit via links from our website. Passport to the Nations does not have any control over these websites or their privacy practices. Individual users should read the respective privacy policies of these third-party organizations for information on their practices and for instructions on how to opt-out of certain practices. Passport to the Nations' privacy policy does not apply to the activities of third-party websites. 

Commitment to Children's and Youth Privacy 

Passport to the Nations website is not directed to children under the age of 13 with the following exception:

This section includes educational information directed to students such as geography content (country cards), Scripture memory, Gospel presentation script, as well as educational and worship music.  Students should access this information under the following parameters:

Students should obtain parent or guardian permission to access the  Passport website.  Note: a password is necessary for the majority of content found on the “Student Stuff” portion of the website.  This password must be obtained from a parent or curriculum administrator.  In addition, students should not order any products or services from Passport or submit content for uploading to our website. Students should never post their full name, address, phone number, ministry or school name in the comments or on message boards/chat areas of the website.

In addition, Passport to the Nations does not knowingly collect information about children under the age of 13. Students under the age of 13 years of age should not use or access the Passport to the Nations website (other than the section titled “Student Stuff”) without parental consent. If we learn that content or personally identifiable information of persons under 13 years of age has been submitted and collected on the Passport to the Nations website, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information. 

International Users 

The Passport to the Nations website is hosted in the United States and is intended for, and directed to, users in the United States. Please be advised that if you are a user from a country other than the United States with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure that differ from United States laws, that your use of our website is governed by U.S. law, this Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Use. 

In the Event of a Merger or Sale 

In the event that Passport to the Nations is acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, the information Passport to the Nations collects may be one of the assets examined or transferred as part of the transaction. Passport to the Nations will not permit another business to examine the information it has collected without a confidentiality agreement. In the event a transaction is completed, Passport to the Nations reserves the right to transfer or assign the information we have collected from our users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.
