One of the memory tools for learning the colors of the Gospel Threads is this easy-to-make bracelet.

What you will need:

  •  A roll of black leather lacing (or a similar material) found at your local craft store
  • A bag of heart-shaped beads

Instructions:

Step 1:  Cut a strand of the leather approximately 12 inches long and select a white, black, red, green, and yellow bead per child, as well as one additional bead of the student’s color preference.

Step 2: Tie a knot an inch or two from the middle of the piece of leather.

Untitled

Step 3: String the beads onto the leather in the following order and tie a knot against the last bead.

Untitled

Step 4: String the final colored bead onto the leather.

Untitled

Step 5: Thread the other end of the leather through the same bead.

Untitled

Step 6: Tie a knot on either end of the string.

All finished! You now have an adjustable bracelet that helps kids learn the five “threads” of the gospel.
